East Pattaya is a quieter area of Pattaya

Though not actually facing the sea, East Pattaya is a quieter area of the seaside resort that can be found between South Pattaya and Jomtien towards the interior of the province. It is a great place to search for houses for sale, as it is much more affordable than most other areas around, yet still close enough to all amenities.

East Pattaya is just a few minutes away from the Pattaya Beach and all of Pattaya’s main draws, such as its nightlife. It is also close to the golf courses, theme parks and other attractions that have been drawing visitors here for decades, yet still far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet.

EastPattaya houses for sale range in price, but are still very reasonable. For example, a 90 square metre two bedroom house in East Pattaya can be had for around 1,200,000 baht, while a house around the same size in South Pattaya is upwards of 3,500,000 baht. This is more than double the price, though the houses are of equal comfort.

Anyone that purchases a house in East Pattaya will tell you that they have no regrets, as living here is quiet and convenient, making it the ideal place to call home. Sukhimvit Road is the dividing line between East Pattaya and both Central and South Pattaya, so it is within easy reach of the Walking Street, Pattayaland and Pattaya Beach. It is also close to major amenities, including Big C, the Pattaya Railway station and Mike Shopping Mall, which features a rooftop swimming pool, a food court and a department store.

Those that wish to have a quieter lifestyle in Pattaya will find Jomtien very close by. This is where the majority of expatriates living in Pattaya reside and it is also a popular place among families. At the same time, the very lively and somewhat seedy South Pattaya is also just a few blocks away, which caters to males looking for as bit of fun.

Houses for sale in East Pattaya cater to all sorts, from singles looking for a nice community to call home to families wanting a large house, complete with a private swimming pool and lovely outdoor garden area. Bungalows and two-storey houses are available, some of which are stand alone and some that are in lovely developments.

You can’t go wrong when buying a house in East Pattaya, as there really is no downside. Amenities, attractions, nightlife and the beach are all within a stone’s throw away, while the neighbourhood is still far enough to avoid the craziness and live a quite life in one of the most popular cities in the country.
