Renting A Property Is Your Best Answer When Taking A Vacation to Pattaya

If you are a regular visit to sunny Pattaya on the east coast of Thailand, you may find that you have decided to stay long-term. People often come for a 2 week holiday and then fall in love with the place and decide to stay a little longer.

Renting hotels can become very costly when staying for a long time. Although most hotels offer discounts for monthly rent, it still works out much more expensive than renting an apartment or condo. The only added bonus of a hotel is that you get your room cleaned for you!

Finding a property for rent in Pattaya is not hard to do as there are apartments and condo's everywhere you look; however, during the high seasons, you may find that the availability of these properties starts to decline. There are many advertisement boards located throughout the shopping centres in the area, listing properties that are available for long term rentals. Most landlords want at least a minimum of a 3 month rental commitment. There are also magazines located around the vicinity that have classified rentals listed.

The easiest way to find a property suited to you is to speak to one of the local property agents. There are many of these agents around Pattaya, so you should have no trouble finding one. The great thing about sourcing a property through an agent is that they will usually take care of everything for you. This means that they will arrange a viewing of the properties that you are interested in and will also deal with the landlord on your behalf. They will collect your deposit and ensure that you get it fully returned to you if you leave.

There have been many stories of foreigners being denied their deposits when renting directly with a landlord so it may be a good idea to use an agent, just for this reason.

If you decide to rent a condo in Pattaya, you will usually find yourself paying a minimum of 10,000bht per month. Condo's however, usually come with stunning views of the resort, or the sea because they are so high up. You also usually get the use of a communal swimming pool, whilst some of the higher priced condominiums have fitness centres too.
